I also plaid all without giving my guys the weapons of choice, mainly, because I had no idea you can do that. That area with the 4 armored kantuses, 2 centipedes, torq bows, And the gunkers, my god… In three situations you face them at close range with practically almost no cover. But some fights were really brutally hard, my God. Not the final boss if you stick in the gazebo area, I beat it in 4 tries. You will need to hit with every single bullet, nail every active reload, dodge him at close range, and so on. Otherwise you would have to be a really, really diehard perfect with every move gear.

The final boss is practically impossible to beat unless cause him to bug (see online videos). Dom is completely useless and bugged often, you are most of the times on your own. What makes this game hard is that you go down much faster than with all other gears games, you take heavy hits, but what makes it extremely hard is that your AI, are mostly useless. The Centaur having to shoot down the tower was very difficult because the driving mechanics are horrible and you blow up incredibly fast, but then again, plenty of guides out there. There are some hard parts, but with some repetition you’ll see how things go and nothing is really hard, same with the boss fights. The campaign is simply put the easiest, except for some really poor design flaws, like the hall with the 3 berserkers at the end, you can run out of ammo often.

Also, sadly, there’s illegal scripts (check youtube) where you can insta-headshot enemies etc that btw sadly also works in MP as much as SP. Gears 4: Why? Can be played on the PC, thus this makes it also much easier. Also, I am not considering 3 stars on Judgement.įirst, the difficulty parts, then the fun factor parts. I will make it based on ALL available in the game, and also, I am excluding this laughable inconceivable mode that Gears 4 introduced down the road, instead of actually improving the game so that is out. Having recently played through Gears 1-4 (including Judgement) on insane, it is fresh in my memory to make a review.
